changing icecast to shoutcast protocol

i made a mistake on buying the wrong protocol type when i bought my subscription...is there a way to change the protocol after buying to icecast to shoutcast

Thanks for creating an account with us.

Right ok we see, that's no problem. Is there any particular reason that you wish to change to Shoutcast over using Icecast?

Unfortunately its not possible for us to change an accounts server type once it has been set, so this will require you to create a whole new account.

If you like we can delete the account that you set up today. Then once you have created the new Shoutcast account, we can then credit this new account with the $5 bandwidth payment that you had made earlier today.
