Hey Guys,
Hope you are all havin a good time!
Islandx Radio is currently looking for some live presenters to fill out the schedule a bit more. Loads of timeslots available, you can check them out from http://radio.islandx.co.uk/schedule.asp - Anything showing as IslandX is available.
Outside of scheduled programming we run a genre based Auto DJ to keep everything consistent. We believe we have a great foundation here and are looking to take our love of music to the world.
The only music we tend to stay clear of is mainstream top 40ish pop r&b etc.
A typical day:
Classics midnight to 6am, followed by some feel good tracks such as indie rock, indie pop, rock pop etc until 10:30am.
This is followed by punk rock, alt rock, ska punk etc until 6pm. We then go into Green hours, a more chilled version of the morning show, generally will contain indie, jazz, funk, reggae, chilled out electronic.
Finally from 9:30pm some alt metal, heavy metal, etc up to midnight again, or trance, techno, house, dubstep depending on the day.
