About Grunge Music

Grunge is a form of alternative rock that emerged in the 1980s out of seattle, washington in the united states of america. Grunge would later go on to become very commercially successful in the 1990s. Its raw sound is inspired by hardcore punk and heavy metal. It is characterised by its use of heavily distorted guitars, growling style vocals and emotionless or angst filled lyrics.
