embedded icecast flash player

Hi i have tried many code snippets to embed an icecast stream into my web page! i managed to get the quicktime stream to work no problem. thing is i need something more generic like a flash player or java player! i tried Jwplayer but it asks for ip address, port and mount! i was given a host name not ip and the port is there and the mount but im having no luck at all. btw im using the auto dj feature and the stream is live when testing

any help would be great

Hi Gary,

Both your servers IP and Hostname can be found in your control panel under the 'Configure Server' section.

Also, as far as we are aware the 'JW Player' is for video (which we do not support), so we would also recommend to you the 'Muses' flash player instead: Muses Radio Player - The Flash MP3/OGG Live Stream Player! 8)
