Callers & Characters Needed for FM Morning Show

Hey,

We have a small market radio show and we're just getting started. Naturally, that means we're working to get the phones going and create some chatter. We're also looking to find some talented people to help us create characters and produced bits. Here's a list of the types of people we need:

1. Phone Ringers - People we can use to comment on our topic of day to get more local people calling. Usually in order to get people calling into a new show, they need to hear someone else do it first. From you we could need your honest or made-up opinion on whatever we're talking about. We usually choose our topic a day or two before we take it to air so we'd email it to you and give you a general direction we'd like you to take it, then leave the rest up to you. OR we'd need you to just spout of an idea or guess to our morning riddle. We have a list of these ready to go, so we might get you to try an answer a few at a time and save them up.

2. Bit Contributors - We are currently developing some bits that again, need to be primed with pre-recorded callers. If we want to stir the pot on something or get our listeners fired up to call in, we'd use this type of pre-recorded bit. Either a phone-in like above or something you can record from home so it's studio quality audio. These types of things would be discussed ahead of time and worked out with you.

3. Characters/Impressions - We're fans of produced bits but have limited in-house access to voices, so it'd be nice to have a few people who could help us with character voices. We'd also like to have some fun with celebrity impersonators to do some fun bits. We'd love a Kanye West to talk about local stuff with us(we'd write the local content for you), along with any other interesting/funny/recognizable celebrity voices.

Currently we're looking for Volunteers but there can be a budget for the right people and lots of recurring work. Kind of testing the waters here. Who knows, some full-time work could be possible too.

We don't want to have to wake you up early, so we like to plan a day or more before we air something. Ideally, you'd be available by phone or have a studio to record in between the hours of 8am & 11am Eastern Standard Time.

Creativity, believability and reliability are key for us. If you're interested we'd love to hear your voice and what you would like to work on. If you have ideas and would like a soundboard or a place to try it out, we're open to that too. Send us your demos or ideas and we'll be in touch.

Also, we're looking to create a "Doating Mom" and "somewhat gruff, yet dim, Boss" characters right now.

Look forward to hearing from some of you!
