hi i want set up a streaming live radio station and i have signed up for pay as you go on icecast. i have been using windows media encoder so far just to try it out but can i connect this through icecast server ?????any help apreciated

The windows media encoder only works with windows streaming servers as far as we know.

You need to use a program like Edcast : http://forum.internet-radio.org.uk/guides/62-configuring-edcast-shoutcast-servers.html
