Everyday I learn more about mixing, I become more capable of finding
ways to make a mix that would be so delicious you could almost
taste it...
I have a Vast music collection and am willing to play them all if
need be. I don't, however, play recent "pop" music and refuse to
own/play them.. but that's only a small portion of the many genres out there.
The most type of genres I play would be: House, Happy Hardcore,
Dance, Hip-Hop(still getting it down), Techno, Trance, Indie, and
Funk.
I am a new and developing DJ with "starter" equipment, and have a
strong grasp of timing and.. well what actually sounds GOOD.
Unfortunately I have not had previous experience working with
another radio.
I have, since I started DJing, randomly grabbed two songs (same
genre), and mixed them together. I always find a way to do so. And then I would repeat the process by picking another random song to keep going.
I do own a mic, but I am investing in a better one. It will carry
out any needs I have to use it for.
Hope you give me a chance, you won't be disappointed.
