Windows Media embedded player

Hello guys,

We are launching a new internet station on Sunday 29th November and wondered if I could have a little advice.

I have used the HTML from one of the other links to place an embedded media player into the website but whilst it worked at first it has since stopped. Likewise clicking on the media player option plays the welcome file and then stops.

Can you assist please?

Hi Jamie

Check that your Intro file is exactly the same bitrate / samplerate / channels as your radio stream. I think you will find that they differ in some way and this what is causing the problem. This is caused by most media players being unable to handle a change during the broadcast (i.e. when the Introfile goes into the stream).
