We have a problem with the remote license update on cp.internet-radio.org.uk and shoutcast.internet-radio.org.uk. Our license is fully valid but there appears to be a problem remotely. We are awaiting a response.

Many apologies for the issue.

UPDATE: One thing worth mentioning. All the Auto DJ's have gone off but you can still stream to your server if it was switched on already before the license issue.

UPDATE: We have installed a backup control panel (Cast Control) on a backup server (cp3.internet-radio.org.uk). We will begin taking requests from users who need a temporary account while we wait for the regular control panel to get fixed.

UPDATE: Control Panel is Back!!!

Unfortunately the time difference (the license servers are in canada) is delaying matters.

We have tried everything we can from this end. No warning were given either which makes this very frustrating. We will keep you updated. Apologies...

Yeah. Its a major issue at Centovacast. We think all Centovacast installations are slowly expiring everywhere... We have raised a ticket and tried calling them to no avail. We have turned off the cronjob on our other server cp2.internet-radio.org.uk so it shouldn't go offline so soon if it happens.

Have renamed the thread to make it more clear. This is VERY frustrating. We cant even bodge the code while we wait for it to be fixed as its all encrypted :(

Their office has been open nearly an hour now and still no response! Our hands are tied on this one unfortunately. Need a response from Centova support. Will keep you all posted.

Yes your not the only one other providers UK Hosting Etc are also down.

Thanks for letting us know. We thought this would affect other hosting companies too. Have you got the URL to "UK Hosting" showing it with the same problem ? We would like to include this in our info to Centova.

My Thursday Dj is starting to get paranoid, poor thing thats two Thursdays in a row. :eek:

Apologies to him. its not personal ;) Just really bad timing. A hard drive blow up last thursday and now this thursday the remote software licensing servers go haywire! When it rains it pours as they say :(

Same thing happening for me (though I'm not on your hosting)...their support appears to be nonexistent (the admin hasn't been online in fifteen days). Kinda disappointing. :/

(wait...I think you're the person whose thread on the Centova forum I replied to, haha)

Are they still there? They haven't gone bust have they? If so, we need to find out really soon so that alternative plans can be made if they have!
I don't think so, but this post makes me believe he's having personal issues and his staff (well, whoever's left, since he apparently fired people a couple weeks ago) is underperforming. *sigh*

Centovacast !!!!!!!!!!!!

All i have to say is this.

Centova its no more trustable and it doesnt worth $1.00 to spend !

Its an UN-RELIABLE company (if its a company.... with only 1-5 max people as a staff) to my eyes now.

Trust me people. Centova is not ONEWAY for the software (licence et.c)...
Why dont we make a good deep search to find a similar
company that offers the same things (or even more) which will
have a decent support team just like *iR* for example ???

There are other companies out there which could be more reliable
and with decent support team.

Thats all i had to say and express my feelings.

Personally i have nothing against *iR* - the people here are
the best TEAM i've ever meet but I AM COMPLETELY ANGRY AND AGAINST ---CENTOVA--- which from now on i will call it
"The Undestaffed Company With NO SUPPORT WHAT SO EVER" .
