Hi airmaster,

With Virtual DJ you need to use the username of "source" instead of your usual account username (airmaster) in order for this to work correctly. Also make sure that you are using your server accounts 'Source' password and not your your accounts 'Admin' password.

You seem to running quite an old version of VirtualDJ there? As you have an Iccecast server with us you are also going to need to enter /live into the mount point settings but this seems to be missing in your configuration settings?

You will find the following Virtual DJ guide helpful: https://www.internet-radio.com/community/threads/virtual-dj-for-shoutcast-and-icecast.38230/

If I am correct that Name field will be his DJ Name :: Show name.
It also looks like he is running VDJ7 and I am sure the mount needed is /stream then configure the .xml for shoutcast compatible / listen port (+1) and the shoutcast mount /live.

Also another issue is that a old copy of VDJ7 seemed to use a outdated lame_enc.dll so I had to download a newer version.

Ah yes, it's been a while since I've used VDJ 7, I'm just used to the newer Pro version ("v8") now. This is likely related to this issue which I had completely forgotten about: https://www.internet-radio.com/comm...-mp3-with-virtual-dj-to-icecast-servers.1808/

Airmaster has an Icecast server with us, not Shoutcast. So they need to connect on the /live mount.

Ideally @airmaster you should look at upgrading to VirtualDJ Pro. https://www.internet-radio.com/community/threads/virtual-dj-for-shoutcast-and-icecast.38230/

Icecast.xml for shoutcast compatible mode.

</listen-socket>
<port>8019</port> (This is +1 from his main port of 8018)
<shoutcast-compat>1</shoutcast-compat>
</listen-socket>
<shoutcast-mount>/live</shoutcast-mount>

Airmaster will then be able to set up his broadcast in mount /stream but listeners will be able to listen to him on his 8018/live (If that makes sense) It's such a stupid system to get VDJ 7 to work on icecast :(

Totally agree with @Support on upgrading VDJ.
