I am getting this directory warning on the top right. What does this mean?

Hi Bulldogsrock,

You can safely click on 'OK' and ignore that warning. It's related to the shoutcast.com directory, not our own.

It's basically to do with the Shoutcast authhash settings which are required for being listed in their directory.

I think they are doing maintenance to the shoutcast directory... been going on like this for a while now...very annoying as sometimes our station is listed there & other times its not... & it throws a warning up in centova confusing alot of broadcasters...

To make your stream public in the shoutcast.com directory this requires your server account to be running their very latest version of Shoutcast v2.6 which we do not run at this time here on our servers (which is v2.5).

Our Shoutcast version gets updated alongside Centovacast (the control panel software), so when the next Centovacast update comes out we imagine we'll see a newer Shoutcast version too. We could upgrade just Shoutcast itself to v2.6, but we run the risk of compatibility issues with Centovacast so it's best we leave it to the Centova guys.

Also please be aware that if you stream over 128kbps then you would need to pay shoutcast.com a monthly fee of $9.90.

How about this error message. I am using 2.5 forever and as of March 20 all my Shoutcast reports stopped and my listing to the directory also stopped. Has anyone else also seen this message this message and how do you get around it.

Stream is currently up but received a Directory maintenance notification.
Listeners are allowed to connect and the stream will act like it is private.

This is the error message I

Hi earlbj,

That error is essentially the same as in the original post. You can safely ignore that.

What's your accounts username please? I'll take a look at your reports.

We are also getting the same message and are sometimes not listed and now our tracks are not showing up, plus when we play live, the website address sometimes doesn't show, no setting have been changed at our end

Hi ukvibes,

That message would not affect your listing here with us in our directories. As explained above that is just related to the shoutcast.com directory.

With the track title info that is missing, is this when using the AutoDJ? If so, then you will want to check that your uploaded files have the correct meta-data embedded in them.

Which encoder software do you use for your live streams? When a live source is connected the website information is taken from your encoders settings, not the Centovacast control panel settings as that is for when using the AutoDJ feature.

Similar error message message to the original post but with a different error code on our Centova since the uk4 upgrade.
Have googled the error code but as expected it isn't known.
Our stream is up and working and we are also listed in the internet-radio.com directory.
Any ideas?

Hi DAFM,

As above, you can safely click on OK and ignore that warning. It is just related to the shoutcast.com directory as you have not registered an authhash with them for your stream.

But if you would like to be listed in their directory then we have a guide on how to do this with the new version of Shoutcast here: https://www.internet-radio.com/comm...he-“authhash”-for-shoutcast-v2-servers.21409/
