is there a way were there auto server can be turned off at a requested time for a dj to go live

Only with Icecast servers. Listeners get autotransferred to the /live mountpoint when a DJ connects overriding the AutoDJ stream.

Shoutcast servers need to have the AutoDJ source de-activated manually before a live DJ can connect.

yeah i know i have to the auo dj turned off but what im saying is my llisteners get cut off before a live dj goes on air because i havr to turn the auto dj off

You should make sure that you use the 'Deactivate Source' option to turn off your AutoDJ rather than restarting the server.

Then in your control panel configuration make sure you have this set as:

'Disconnect listeners if source disconnects: No'

Finally you will need to make sure that you are streaming at exactly the same bitrate/samplerate/channels as your AutoDJ for a smooth changeover and without disconnecting listeners.
