help please
can steam a ice cast using traktor pro, vci 100 arcade and win 7

Traktor Pro only allows for streaming in Ogg Vorbis. So yes, for this you would need an Icecast server.
However, some media and flash players do not support Ogg Vorbis and we have had users experience problems with this in the past.
We do however have a work around solution for this allowing you to stream in the more compatible Mp3 format. Please see the following guide: http://forum.internet-radio.com/guides/1981-configuring-edcast-work-any-program-icecast-servers.html
Even though the guide uses 'Virtual DJ' as an example, the same method can be applied to using Traktor allowing you to stream in Mp3. 8)
