Hi everyone. New to this other than one small station i setup for a client.

I have a couple of great .fm domain names (one a carribean island country and a large UK city) Before i develop them i just wondered if running a station can actually make money or is it just going to cost me realistically. I figure the country one especially could potentially do okay with a reggae/carribean vibe as its very easy to remember. Does the domain name matter ?

Its like anything in life thats worth doing. It takes hard work and a decent plan. After all you can work hard at the wrong things and your station won't succeed. Or you could work little at the right things and still not make it. You need to have a balance of the two factors.
