Does icecast work for Mac's , can't get winamp to work for mac. Do i need winamp when creating the internet radio

Good question. The best way to broadcast from an apple mac is to use nicecast :

Nicecast so far is the only thing I have found which can connect to Shoutcast but its very versatile too I must admit. It can do so much you just have to learn how to use it.
