We previously allowed unsecured (plain http) connections to the server but as of today we are redirecting all unsecured connections to the secure (https) version.

There shouldn't be any real noticeable difference but please do let us know if you have any problems.

I noticed today that when using Windows 7 on my back up computer my Mixxx streamer kept disconnecting and connecting again its never done that before. No problems on main computer using Linux so far. I have 300mb Fiber optic so there should not be connection problem.

Which connections are you actually talking about? My server host address is just uk?.internet-radio.com or do you mean some other address?

Could you please clarify which http addresses you mean please.

We have only foreced https to www.internet-radio.com so basically the forum and directory. The hosting servers (us*/uk*.internet-radio.com) are unchanged so your issue must be related to something else. If you contact support here we can help.

Does this mean that I have to re-add the links all over again? Or no?

No, fortunately :) All old links redirect correctly to the secure https version so for example:

http://www.internet-radio.com/some-url redirects to https://www.internet-radio.com/some-url
