Shouldn't a scheduled program interrupt a rotation program?

Tonight I had a one hour program (on general rotation) starting at 6:40pm (Tim Hunter Power Play1).
In fact it was still playing at 7:35PM. However, I had scheduled 'ProgYes Show Edition 4' to be playing from 7pm to 8pm. I had assumed a general rotation program would stop when a scheduled program is supposed to start.

Tracks on the Auto DJ playlists are never interrupted mid-track. So if a longer track was playing just before another playlist was due to start, the system would wait for that track to finish, hence the playlist not starting at the scheduled time. As the track you mentioned was an hour in length, it ran for the full hour. 8)
