Trying to stream into Second Life

I'm trying to stream my station into Second Life.

The Second LIfe Wiki says this about streaming:
The URL that works for an MP3 player may not work in Second Life. If you URL is http://example.com:8000/listen.pls you should use the URL http://example.com:8000 in Second Life.

So, I have entered http://us1.internet-radio.com:8017 which is the address of my little radio station. I have AutoDJ configured, my music uploaded and everything seems to be working just fine at Internet Radio, but it doesn't stream into Second Life.

Other stations stream just fine, for example this works just fine in SL: http://srv6.karadio.biz:20474

I can't figure out what is going wrong.

Thanks!

Hi DiJodi,

You have an Icecast server which uses mounpoints to move the listeners between them for "live" and "autodj" streams. All of your listeners tune in via the "/stream" mountpoint which then moves them automatically between the "/live" and "/autodj" mountpoints as required.

So in this case you may need to use the stream URL of http://us1.internet-radio.com:8017/stream for this which includes the mountpoint in the URL.

We hope that this helps.
