Unable to upload music into my directories

Hi, I am new to this so please forgive me if I am doing something stupid! I uploaded a few songs a couple of weeks ago from itunes to get to feel my way around but today I would like to upload some more music but the media folder is nowhere to be seen! I can see my folders, heavy rotation etc but am stumped as to how to get music in them! Any suggestions as to what i am doing wrong?
