About Dub Music

Dub music developed from reggae in the 1960s. It is known for taking an existing piece of music, removing the vocals and creating an instrumental with added emphasis on the percussive and bass sections of the arrangement. Extended use of echo delay effects and reverb are another big part of the sound.
