Hi everyone, I've been making radio programmes for a few years now and am looking for tips, tricks and advice. Eventually I plan to start my own station but for the moment am just looking to improve my work with RadioReverb, Resonance FM and Totally Radio. Looking forward to chatting to you all and hearing / sharing advice :)

RADIO FRANKENSTEIN INTERNATIONAL isn't actually a radio station, but a weekly one-hour programme, broadcast by internet station Hive Community Radio (Jarrow, North East England).

Eclectic content, mainly non-mainstream... if you'd like an example go to the RFI website - last week's programme now playing on demand.

New show each Thursday @ 20:00 (UK), repeated Sundays @ 19:00 (UK) and Tuesdays @ 20:00 (UK).

Listen online : https://hiveradio.airtime.pro/

RFI website : https://radiofrankensteininternational.weebly.com/ - last week's programme now playing

Older shows available at : https://www.mixcloud.com/Hive_Radio/

New to the forums here. Running a couple of stations online main one being 'The Vinyl Resting Place' which plays easy listening music and oldies. Also got another server running Vinyl45 which is more pop and rock but still testing at the moment. Have licence with PRS/PPL and Vinyl Resting Place is set up with Alexa skill, available on Roberts Internet Radios (Nouvola) and due to appear on Pure Internet radios this week,.
Also doing some shows on couple of other stations - Seabird Radio and Radio Neptune so keep busy for a 69 year old.
Always on the lookout for some shows here too + would like something country to add to the playlists.

Hello Support,

I'm Simone, a 60 + something who has discovered through blind luck the joys of Radio as a presenter. originally inspired to have a go by the engineering team (friends) of Cambridge105 Radio I now find myself in the backup daytime presenter role which is perfect for me. The inspiration also got me involved with Black Cat Radio. Both of these stations broadcast on FM as well as the Internet (UK Community Radio Stations). At this level presenters get to produce their own shows which is really enjoyable playing the music you love. It makes you smile and your passion magically transmits to those listening. Exposed to the fact of Internet Radio from the aforementioned two stations, thanks to OK Google and Alexa I have found a world full of passionate presenters found only on Internet stations. This led me here to enjoy the company of like-minded individuals and perhaps find an Internet Radio station that needs a daytime jock.

Hi Everyone.

I'm Scott, but my radio person is Scotty Gee. I am from just outside of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I briefly went to college for radio broadcasting way back in 1990 but didn`t was young and naive and didn`t like the fact that (gasp!) I wasn`t going to get to play the music that I wanted to play.

Fast forward 30 years and Internet Radio has allowed me to complete the circle and start my own station on Live365. I do two shows per week, Wednesday mornings from 7 - 9 EST, and Saturday night from 8 - 11 (sometimes later). I have a small but growing audience and am looking to at least make my station self-sufficient through Patreon subscribers, donations, and advertisers (eventually).

I hope to get to know some of you and learn some new things as I really am quite a newbie at this but am enjoying every moment.

Cheers,

Scotty Gee

Hi all,
Not only am I new to the forum, but also Internet Web Radio, since 1994 I was mainly devoted to TV & Satellite hacking,
but in 2010 I realized the numbers quickly switching away from satellite, I did peservere until 2017 but by then it was time to quit as the number of hits per month sharply dropped from over 1,000,000 per month in the early days, to around 3,000 per month or less in 2017,
this was obviously due to inclusion of the popularity of online streaming and IPTV .

Now October of 2020. I decided upon Radio Broadcasting, I read up on it over one weekend and decided to give it a shot, so I purchased a Music Licence two in fact one for both PRS and PPL.
2 weeks later I opened my site at Radio 53 Live
Anyone wishing to check it out, and maybe throw a couple of recommendations on how it looks etc well that would indeed be great.

All the best
