Exotica Radio Stations

Exotica is a form of music that is sometimes also described as tropical jazz or easy listening lounge music. It was pioneered during the 1950's and draws upon influences from world music and identifiable ethnic sounds to make it sound exotic to a western audience when mixed with the familiar pop music format. It is intended to invoke the feeling or images of being in exotic foreign destinations.
