Psychobilly is a rock music genre in which it combines punk rock and rockabilly. Psychobilly often has a tongue in cheek lyrical reference to science fiction and horror films as well as violence and shocking sexual references. Commonly, instrumentation such as the upright double bass and hollow body guitars are often used in psychobilly instead of electric guitars which are more common in rock music.
